Career Academy Partnership 

The UCA Career Academy serves students in grades 9-12 by providing pathways to certification and relevant work experience in the areas of construction trades, culinary arts, health sciences, 3D modeling and game design, welding, automotive technologies, agriculture, and other STEAM based occupations. UCA is seeking business partners to assist with resources and curriculum guidance to provide authentic vocational training. Through instruction and internships, graduates of the Career Academy will be work ready and available to join your team as valuable contributors to your organization. The UCA Career Academy offers an answer to gaps in workforce readiness by providing the next generation of skilled workers.

UCA Provides:

  • A pipeline of skilled workers trained to industry standards
  • Marketing of your organization through school promotions (family events, website, social media, etc)
  • Flexible student schedules that allow for on-site apprenticeships and employment opportunities

UCA Partners Provide:

  • Initial investment for naming rights to classroom space and/or lobby
  • Assistance with securing relevant equipment and resources
  • Direct input on curriculum to prepare graduates to be work ready 
  • Authentic vocational training through partnerships/sponsorships of UCA teachers
  • Opportunities for student job shadowing and internships
