Important Update Regarding Weather Days

Dear UCA Families,

As of today, Uwharrie Charter Academy has used the five (5) designated virtual days allowed for weather-related closures.

Moving forward, any additional missed days will need to be made up and will be designated as “No Days.” This approach continues to reflect our commitment to safety, which remains our top priority for our students, staff, and families.

UCA is actively working through next steps and reaching out for additional support as we navigate these requirements. We will communicate the specific make-up days by next week to allow families adequate time to plan.
