Virtual Day – Wednesday, January 28

Good afternoon Eagles,

While many areas are beginning to thaw, we continue to have staff and families for whom travel remains unsafe due to lingering ice and road conditions. Keeping the safety of our students—especially our young drivers—and our bus routes in mind, Uwharrie Charter Academy will operate on a virtual learning platform on Wednesday, January 28.

If staff members are able to safely report to campus, they should communicate directly with their school administrator.

We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we make decisions with safety as our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued support.
