Future Doctors and Scientists Camp at App State

Appalachian State is offering a residential summer program for 9th-12th grade students July 5th - July 27. The camp includes 4-5 days of clinical skills and 2.5 weeks of intense research in a biomedical lab with experienced national and international medical doctors and researchers. NC Central University summer programs

The School of Business at North Carolina Central University offers a two week residential summer opportunity entitled Summer Youth Business and Entrepreneurship Academy. Applications are due by April 1st. Students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, with a B average or higher are eligible for admission. Selected students will receive business training and exposure to higher education on the campus of NCCU, along with a full scholarship to cover the cost of attendance plus room and board. Click on the link below for more information.

UNC Greensboro Young Writer's Camp

To all budding writers:  The UNC-G Young Writers' Camp is a great opportunity to hone your craft. Held on UNC-G's campus in the School of Education, writers from all around the area come together to brainstorm, draft, critique and share their work.

Cornell University Summer College

Cornell University offers a real college experience to students who are currently sophomores, juniors, or seniors in high school and are highly motivated learners. These summer college programs are offered between June 25 and August 9, 2016. Students may choose from more than 50 Cornell courses, experience the college life at an Ivy League university, earn 3-6 college credits, and receive one-on-one admissions counseling. These programs are offered in two-week, three-week, four-week, five-week, and six-week installments. Prices coincide with the length of the program and limited financial aid is available.
